It is not crazy to think that there are health benefits from red wine. Too much of the same thing could do more harm than good. Keep in mind when it comes to reaping the benefits of red wine there needs to be a balance. Balancing everything perfectly in life can be quite tricky but drinking red wine is an easy way to start. What are some health benefits of red wine? There are quite a few benefits such as:

  • Resveratrol - Resveratrol is a massive factor in why red wine is healthy.  Resveratrol helps fight against bad cholesterol. Low-density lipoprotein has a lower chance of blood clotting as well.
  • High-density lipoprotein (HDL) - Not only does red wine lower bad cholesterol, but it increases good cholesterol such as HDL. HDL is enhanced not just from red wine specifically, but all wine can improve the good cholesterol in your body.
  • Endothelium - Endothelium is the cell lining of our blood vessels. Red wine can improve the cell wall and make the cell lining stronger. Specifically, this means that blood flow and heart health is increased.
